CSO TICKETING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
General
These terms and conditions (Terms) apply to any person that purchases or receives a complementary ticket to and/or attends a Christchurch Symphony Trust (CSO or we, us, our) concert, event or performance.
We may vary these Terms at any time and notify you by posting an updated version of these Terms on our website, www.cso.co.nz.Any change applies from the date we post it on our website.
Booking Tickets
Tickets are sold on behalf of CSO by Eventfinda Limited. Do not purchase tickets from any source other than eventfinda or its authorised agencies. Tickets purchased from any other source or reseller (such as Viagogo) may be unauthorised copies and you may be refused admittance to the event.
Ticket purchases are limited to a total of 10 tickets per transaction. If you need to purchase more than 10 tickets for a CSO event, you will need to purchase the additional tickets in a separate transaction. This policy is to restrict unfair purchasing practices. If you have any queries or wish to make a group booking, please contact ticketing@cso.co.nz.
If you have purchased tickets to CSO concerts, events or performances through eventfinda or its authorised agents then both these Terms and the eventfinda ticket purchase terms and conditions of sale apply to you (the eventfinda terms). If there is any conflict between these Terms and the eventfinda terms then these Terms will prevail.
Seating Requirements
If you require any assistance with seating or need to make a wheelchair and/or companion booking these can be booked through eventfinda or by calling the CSO Office on 03 943 7791.
Concert, event or performance changes
CSO reserves the right to withdraw, add or substitute musicians, performers, and to vary seating arrangements, audience capacity, venues or program times as CSO considers necessary without notice. Any unavoidable changes will be advertised on our website, and through our social media channels. In the event of a change of venue, all ticketholders will be notified by email. CSO exercising these rights will not entitle you to make any claim against the CSO.
Postponements, cancellations and refunds
Tickets cannot be refunded, exchanged or cancelled once issued except in accordance with the applicable laws of New Zealand. Please note that buyer error or a buyer no longer being able to attend an event are not grounds for a refund, so please book carefully.
In the event of a postponement, purchased tickets for the original date will be valid for the new date unless otherwise notified. Purchasers have the option to seek a refund for the value of the purchased ticket(s) if they can no longer attend the new date. In this instance please contact eventfinda prior to the new date for the postponed show at https://support.eventfinda.co.nz/hc/en-gb/requests/new.
In the unlikely event of a cancellation, the full ticket purchase including booking fees will be refunded by our ticketing provider directly to the credit card used for the original purchase.

In certain circumstances, refunds may be considered at CSO’s discretion. To request a refund in this instance, you must notify CSO Box Office ticketing@cso.co.nz at least 4 days prior to the concert, event or performance date. In some instances, a credit will be issued to use on future CSO concerts within the same calendar year.
Refunds or seat relocations will not be considered on the day of a concert.
To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, CSO is not liable to you for any claims, damages, losses or expenses incurred as the result of a CSO concert being cancelled, postponed or changed.

Charitable Requests
CSO prides itself on our award-winning programme of community engagement and belief in “music for everyone”. We are very happy to extend this love of music to those wanting to fundraise for their own worthwhile community causes. We have a limited number of tickets available throughout the year for community fundraising purposes. Preference is given to those organisations that align with our support of music within the community. For further enquiries please contact marketing@cso.co.nz
Illness
We’re keen to keep the music playing by keeping our musicians and patrons safe. We support mask wearing at concerts. Please consider your fellow concert goers and stay home if you are unwell.
