Welcome to Ōtautahi

In collaboration with Pathway Trust, CSO uses music to connect with the men at Christchurch Men's Prison over a multi-week programme. Our experienced and specialised team of musicians enjoy sharing their love of music, and connecting with participants to encourage confidence, teamwork and communication.

In 2025 we also look forward to returning to Christchurch Women's Prison.

Welcome to Ōtautahi

We embrace the power of the international language of music and look for any opportunities to connect with new members of our community who have joined us from far and wide.

If we can connect in some way with your community, please get in touch with us! selena.prior@cso.co.nz

Partnerships with Music Schools

CSO Buddy School

We dream of music making being available to all of our rangatahi so they can grow and thrive. Each year a selected school will have access to selected CSO rehearsals, and an instrument programme supported by CSO musicians. Our 2025 Buddy School is Bromley School!

If your school wants to kickstart a music programme and would like to have the chance to be considered for our Buddy School programme, please make contact with selena.prior@cso.co.nz

Tukutuku
