Celebrating community, connection, and some of Aotearoa’s boldest talent, our new season reflects the vibrancy and colour of the growing arts and cultural scene in Ōtautahi Christchurch.

Featuring orchestral heavyweights Bach, Britten, Copland, Mozart, Saint-Saëns, we also mark the bicentenary of Beethoven’s death. Must-see Lamb & Hayward Masterworks include two epic works, Mozart’s Requiem, and Holst’s The Planets, as well as not three but FOUR CSO Curator’s Series concerts across the year.

Our CSO & Rova Present Series celebrates homegrown talent, and historic and pop culture favourites, including Disney Favourites, Waiata Anthems, Proms, Discovery, A Very CSO Christmas, and a very special collaboration with Aotearoa’s indie-rock synth-pop queen, Ladyhawke.

It’s a bold and vibrant season, just like our orchestra.
