If there’s one dinner not to miss, it’s THE Dinner.
Set beneath the dome of the awe-inspiring Douglas Lilburn Auditorium in the Christchurch Town Hall, join the CSO for this special fundraising dinner.
Enjoy a sumptuous three course meal specially curated by Venues Ōtautahi executive chef Dan Shanks, made with some of the finest locally sourced ingredients from the Canterbury region, with wines to match.
Throughout the evening, you will be serenaded by the full orchestra under the baton of Chief Conductor Benjamin Northey, while both the live and silent auctions will offer the opportunity to win an array of unique prizes and experience packages.
As the orchestra of Ōtautahi Christchurch, we take our motto “Music for Everyone” pretty seriously. Throughout the year, CSO musicians bring live music to everyone in our community, including:
- performing in 25 concerts as a part of our 2021 concert season, including collaborating with a diverse range of artists from aerial artists, dancers from Jolt, and Tiki Taane.
- working with students, people in prison, people experiencing dementia and other disabilities or health issues, and more.
- Bringing CSO ensembles to rest homes and lifestyle villages for intimate performances.
- Providing professional musical accompaniment for other arts organisations such as the Royal New Zealand Ballet and New Zealand Opera.
By joining us at The Dinner, you will be supporting all the work that our musicians do and help ensure that we can bring music to everyone. The Dinner is the CSO's major fundraiser for 2021.
Bring your friends or host some clients with the choose of tables for ten at $2,500 or individual tickets at $250 each.
Avoid missing out and book today.
