Join us for a special Instruments in Focus: Taonga Puoro with CSO Māori Artist in Residence Mahina-Ina Kingi-Kaui!
A renowned soloist, composer, and practitioner of Ngā Taonga Puoro, Mahina will showcase her vast collection of Taonga Puoro traditional Māori instruments in this special, one-off workshop. Discover their unique sound and stories in the acoustically immaculate Ron Ball Studio of our CSO Centre, Christchurch Town Hall.
2pm – 3pm, Thursday 10 July – the same day as CSO & Rova Present: Matariki!This event is free upon presentation of a ticket for CSO & Rova Present: Matariki, otherwise a koha on the door is appreciated.
