Chamber Music Weekend 2022

Join CSO musicians and fellow chamber music enthusiasts for a weekend of ensemble music learning and performing. Open to musicians of all ages, the Chamber Music Weekend is a great opportunity to develop your skills under the guidance of our friendly CSO tutors in a warm and supportive environment with a series of workshops and coaching sessions.
At the end of the weekend, participants will have the opportunity to share their new skills with whānau and friends in a informal performance in the CSO Centre.
This event is recommended for musicians who have reached a Grade 5 level of playing experience.
In 2022, we are delighted to be hosting, in collaboration with the Christchurch School of Music, a Junior Chamber Music Weekend for young musicians 14 and under, taking place at the University of Canterbury with a final celebratory showcase in the Ron Ball Studio.
Registrations for the Chamber Music Weekend 2022 have closed. If you are a member of a group that is taking part and you haven't registered yet, or if you have any questions, please email selena.orwin@cso.co.nz.
