Accelerando

For ages 13 and under working at approx. Grade 3–4 and above

We invite exceptional young musicians to join us for mentorship, workshops, and opportunities to spend time developing technique and musicianship supported by our leading CSO musicians.

In 2026 we're offering Accelerando programmes for string and woodwind musicians, and introducing a condensed pilot opportunity for young brass musicians. If you’d like to see a full brass programme launch in 2027, this is your chance to get involved and show your interest!

Accelerando Junior Strings – $290. Applications close 20 January.

Accelerando Junior Woodwinds – $290. First audition date will be Thursday 4 December. Additional times will be available in February for late applications.

Accelerando Junior Brass Pilot – $30 for one session, $50 for two. Sign up now! No auditions required.

Intermezzo

For ages 13 to 17 working at approx. Grade 6 and above

Cost: $350

We are thrilled to be expanding our development programme for strings in 2026 to welcome advanced string players aged approximately 13-17 to apply for a place in our Intermediate Intermezzo Strings as part of our Elevate! – Young Musicians' Development Programme. Supported by leading CSO String players the sessions will combine ensemble opportunities with more detailed technical guidance and expert mentoring to take your string playing to the next level.
