Oscar is 14 years old and is a Performing Arts Scholar at Christs College, where he has been head treble of the Chapel Choir for the past 12 months. Oscar has previously been a member of the Christchurch Boys Choir as Head Chorister and has been involved in many stage productions including solo performances for Showbiz's Broadway Hitmen, and sang at the 2022 Coca Cola Christmas in the Park. He is currently studying for his ATCL Diploma in singing.

Oscar enjoys playing the trumpet and recently performed in a trumpet trio with the CSO in Christchurch Sparks in the Park. He is currently studying for his Trinity Grade 8 exam and is a member of the Christchurch Youth Orchestra, Christs College Big Band and Orchestra.

Oscar enjoys participating in musical theatre, pop acapella, tap dancing, and piano in addition to his singing and trumpet activities
