Meet Toby
Toby | Heading Dog, 11 Years
Honourary Role: CSO Principal Sneak Thief
Toby's Human: Jenny Johnson, CSO Principal Oboe
Loves: Eating the kittens' food, sneaking up on the couch, barking at other dogs walking past his house, Peanut Butter, his dad Neil, car rides, his lead, sunshine, going for long walks, swimming, and his big cat sibling!
Loathes: The Oboe!! Other dogs, having a bath, sleeping on his own bed, cuddles :(
We rescued Toby at 18 months old, and despite him now being an old boy, he is still fast, excitable, and eager to please!

Meet Gus
Gus | Spoodle (Spaniel x Poodle), 6 Years
AKA: Gustopher, Gusmiester, Little Sh*t
Honourary Role: CSO Principal Best Mate
Gus' Human: Thomas Eves, CSO Principal Trumpet
Loves: Beach, Treats, Cuddles, Runs, his parents & his original mum Sarah.
Loathes: Being alone, stopping to talk on his walks, doggy showers!
Gus in three words? Loyal, Needy, and Loving ... and a Little Sh*t ;-)

Meet Caruso
Caruso | Border Collie x Huntaway, 5.5 Years
Honourary Role: CSO Principal Good Boy
Caruso's Humans: Sharon Baylis & Pablo Ruiz Henao, CSO Associate Principal Viola & Principal Bass Trombone
Loves: Running as fast as he can, digging, making himself nests
Loathes: Kites/flying objects, noisy/splashing water
Caruso is gentle, charming ... and manipulative! (I mean, who could possibly say no to that face)

Meet Albie
Albie | Schnauzer x Poodle/Terrier, 2.5 Years
AKA: Albie Eden, Linda or Albie Dingbat
Honourary Role: CSO Principal Opportunist
Albie's Human: Emma Eden, CSO Principal Horn
Loves: When everyone is home, loves when the kids drop food on the floor, and loves going to the Prebbleton domain.
Loathes: The cold and the rain!
Albie’s biggest strength is that he is incredible with small kids, especially our ones. He is so tolerant and patient with them. He is also great with our two cats as well.
Emma Eden
Meet Freya
Freya | Finnish Spitz, 3 Years
AKA: Frey Frey, Freya Underfoot, or Freya Fluffibutt
Honourary Role: CSO Principal Floof
Freya's Humans: Arna & Alex Morton, CSO Principal 2nd Violin and Acting Associate Principal Horn
Loves: Cuddles & snuggles, sunbathing (weirdly...), howling along with mum and dad, borking at strangers/other dogs/birds, walkies on the dunes, her snuffle mat stuffed with treats, and hanging with her fellow Finkies (Finnish Spitz dogs) in Christchurch.
Loathes: Modern 'noisy' technology: e.g. hairdryers, vacuums, powerdrills, and the NZ Postie Carts, getting more than her feet wet, having her nails trimmed, meeting dogs on the leash, being picked up, being alone.
Freya is a sweetie. A very affectionate and sensitive wee dog, but with a bark that bites!

Meet Tallulah
Tallulah | Irish Wheaten Terrier, 14 Years
AKA: Lula or Lu
Honourary Role: CSO Principal Matriarch
Tallulah's Humans: Isaac & Claire Shatford, CSO Section Violins
Loves: Going to any park but particularly Elmwood Park. Cheese, and doing tricks for treats… i.e. cheese!
Loathes: Champagne bottles (they pop!) but fine with wine ;-)
Tallulah is the matriarch of the family who loves and cares for all of us. She is devious - will sneak into the forbidden music room when we’re out... but is also desperate to please; she gets so sad when she’s in trouble that she hides her face :(

Meet Picquet
Picquet | Pure-bred English Springer Spaniel (field), 4 Years
AKA: Picky or MISTER Picky
Honourary Role: CSO Principal Positivity
Picquet's Human: Bernard Shapiro, CSO Acting Principal Horn
Loves: 20km runs with Amy; getting after the Possums, rats/mice, hares, magpies; and play fighting with/being chased by me. He's also a cuddler.
Loathes: We haven't found anything - he's literally so enthusiastic about everything it's bordering on wildly insane!
Picquet is ALWAYS keen to do what we're doing, and he uses his curled tail (rare in pure-bred spaniels) as his signature trait. He also insists on a 'Dog Tax' whenever we bake bagels...

Riley's Human: Laura Barton, CSO Section Violin
Loves: Treats!! Playing with yarn; eating mum’s knitting...
Loathes: The sight and sound of the violin 😭 … yeah, these pictures were quite the challenge!
Riley is a Finnish Spitz NZ National Champion who I adopted this year. He is also Freya's grandfather (pictured earlier)

George's Human: Rosamund McDonald, CSO Partnerships & Relationships Manager
Loves: Treats, head massages, chasing cats
Loathes: Bathtime, the rain, when the cats get more attention than he does!
George is stubborn, needy, and cheeky... but isn't he also just so handsome?!
