It is with great pleasure that the Christchurch Symphony Trust Board announces that Graham Sattler has been appointed as the new Chief Executive for the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra. Graham is currently the Executive Director of the Mitchell Conservatorium, NSW, Australia, and brings to the CSO over 20 years’ experience in executive arts management. He has spent his entire career in the music sector – as a professional musician, academic, researcher and director and is passionate about opening the world of music to everyone. “I am thrilled to take up this wonderful opportunity to become a part of such a vibrant and valued organisation. The breadth and quality of the CSO’s programming, along with its inspiring community engagement activity, makes the prospect of working together a truly exciting one,” said Graham. "We are all very much looking forward to welcoming Graham to his new role with the CSO" commented Renée Walker, Chair of the CSO Trust, "and we are all absolutely delighted that he will be applying his skills and knowledge, as well as his enthusiasm, to the next stage in the CSO’s journey."
