Friends of the CSO

Becoming a Friend will give you the opportunity to be more closely involved with the orchestra and to meet other like-minded people with whom to share the experience of music.

Your subscriptions and donations enable us to make a significant financial contribution towards the orchestra. Proceeds from our fundraising functions ared donated to the CSO Trust with only costs recovered from the income. It is only through our combined efforts as citizens we can ensure the ongoing success of our orchestra and as a Friend you will be instrumental to its success.

There are many personal benefits to becoming a member of the Friends:

• The opportunity to meet many of the guest artists and members of the orchestra in more intimate surroundings than the concert platform.
• Invitations to exclusive Members Only social and fundraising functions.
• Complimentary ¼ Tones Friends of CSO newsletter
• Knowing you make a very real contribtuion to the success of the CSO, an integral part of the cultural life of Christchurch
